“There’s a trick to the Graceful Exit. It begins with the vision to recognize when a job, a life stage, a relationship is over - and to let go. It means leaving what’s over without denying its validity or its past importance in our lives.”
Ellen Goodman Pulitzer prize winning columnist, author, speaker, and commentator
What a GREAT quote! And so true. Very often we leave and inadvertently also leave whatever that situation/person taught us or what their purpose was for that period of time in our lives. Sometimes there are very valuable and necessary reasons for all of it; the beginning, the middle and the end. Recognizing them is important to our growth.

The middle of each week an email “postcard” — a quote, a picture, a story—is sent on a topic of interest to women. (Ideas welcome!) An identical post is also added to this blog.
