Kelly Corrigan writes an honest and moving memoir that focuses on her evolving roles as daughter and mother. As she chronicled the joys and challenges of growing up I felt like I was re-living some of the highs and lows of my own life as well. My book club read The Middle Place for our April meeting and the members of our group unanimously loved Kelly's story. It seemed as if each of us found something that we could personally relate to in her memoir.
What Women Are Saying About Diana Black's WWW "Postcard:"
"Always you send something to think about..."
-- Cathe K.
"...wanted to tell you what important work you are doing. I will keep paying attention every Wednesday!"
-- Wendy J.
"This Women’s Wednesday idea is such a terrific one!"
-- Sandra K.
"I surely do appreciate these Wednesday inspirationals."
-- Gwen
"I love getting these! I often click the link to read more about the person."
-- Sally B.
"I really enjoy receiving this every week!"
-- Crystal
Thank you, one and all. Here’s to a year of positive, life-affirming quotes each Wednesday. May we continue to unite, inspire and empower each other to be all we are meant to be. -- db
The middle of each week an email “postcard” — a quote, a picture, a story—is sent on a topic of interest to women. (Ideas welcome!) An identical post is also added to this blog.
